Testimonials
It is with pleasure that I write these words as a testimonial for Bridge who was employed as a companion for my sister, a retired Consultant Physician who developed Alzheimer’s disease.
Bridge lived in part of the week to care for my sister for a year until she needed to be placed in a full-time clinical setting.
The challenges included
- Changes in behaviour
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Hallucinations during the night
- Mood swings
- Agitation
- Apathy
Bridge managed all of the above using Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), meditation and yoga. She gave my sister her full attention, ensuring she was listened to, she encouraged her to speak about herself and would rephrase questions so she could communicate easily.
Bridge’s aim was to focus and improve the functions that my sister had. This gave my sister confidence and she then became open to try new things, even when she was frustrated. There was always progress made which my sister recognised. Bridge worked with my sister’s sensory organs, helping her to focus on what she liked to taste, smell, see, hear and touch etc.
Bridge removed frustrations by using reverse psychology – she encouraged my sister to speak and teach Bridge French and Turkish – my sister was delighted to do this; and it reminded her of what she knew and remembered. She would be so focussed on the task. If Brigit couldn’t remember a phrase, my sister would often say “I’ve just told you, you are not listening very well are you” 😊 xx
Trust helped my sister to relax. During the night she would wake feeling anxious and confused – Bridge would settle her quickly by focussing on what they could do together – which was listen to meditation and stories. She shared some of the strategies with the other carers and hoped it was of help to them.
Bridge was aware of non-verbal messages, such as facial expressions and body language and used physical contact to reach my sister, just a reassuring hand hold and rubbing of her arm was all that was needed at times.
Active listening:
Bridge always made eye contact with my sister and made sure she looked at her too! She always let my sister speak, never interrupted her, and gave her full attention ensuring my sister knew she was heard. Whilst communicating Bridge always made sure there was not too much was going on whilst they communicated, i.e., no television, maybe some soft classical music in the background as this relaxed my sister and encouraged creativity. She really understood my sister and what was happening her.
“Bridge’s coaching is fantastic for anyone looking to change their own lives and in turn improve the lives of the people around them. Bridge provides a safe, non-judgemental space to discuss and solve whatever problem you might have. Personally, she has taught me how my own mind works and helped me to tackle my own inner conflicts, among many other things. I whole heartily recommend this service to anyone looking to make changes in their lives.”
I went to see Bridge after I realised I needed to make changes in my life but for one reason or another just couldn’t move forward. Bridge helped me gain clarity where I had none, to understand that I needed to move forward but with purpose, a personal destination in mind. She helped me feel less and anxious about taking action that would lead to changes in my life. Enough changes have been made that I now feel back in control of my own life and where it is going.
I started seeing Bridge with an open mind regarding hypnotherapy. I had a long-term problem which could have been psychosomatic, although the medical profession claimed it was a permanent condition, I wasn’t so sure.
During hypnotherapy my symptoms became less pronounced and during everyday life it continued to improve.
I was able to make life changing decisions when I was deep in my mind during the therapy and I have improved as a person and now know what I truly want from life.
I have found Bridge to be kind, unique, positive and she can think outside of the box. She has a very good understanding of the connection between the human body and mind. During my sessions I learned that they are very much connected. It’s several months after my sessions I feel so relaxed and take everything in my stride.
Bridge made me feel grounded and secure in her sessions. She had the patience and understanding to make me feel really heard. You feel as if you are really in a safe pair of hands and there is a prevailing feeling of trust and respect for her mature knowledge and life wisdom. There is no sense of being judged, just appreciated
for whom I am so was able to talk openly. The sessions have really helped my depression and anxiety. We were able to uncover a lot of old destructive beliefs and slowly build my confidence back. I really trust Bridge as my therapist and will continue to see her if any more negative stuff comes up. But at the moment I am using all the tools she gave me to turn my life around. Thank you Bridge.
Bridget is a professional yet extremely empathetic and patient therapist. She helped me through a very traumatic time in my life four years ago, and if not for her help and guidance I would have suffered terribly with depression. During this time, she gave me the tools to deal with my day-to-day life and taught me to overcome future difficulties with clear judgement.
Whether you are at your lowest point or looking for guidance on how to move forward effectively, Bridget allows you the time to work through your issues. She shows deep understanding for your experiences by turning over every stone, but also stays focussed and on track with your personal development.
Bridget is based in peaceful and beautiful surroundings and my journey with her was truly invaluable. She really is a rare find and I was lucky to have her as my guiding angel.
I have known Bridge for the past 3 years, she has been teaching me yoga, there is not a single day I went for my yoga lesson reluctantly.
Bridge has changed my mindset and I now live a very happy positive and content life.
Bridge is very friendly with a flexible attitude. She is calm and teaches us yoga with great passion, most of the time the class has overrun without us realising it!
The days I have my lesson I am up very early and very much look forward to it. It has to be all the personal qualities Bridge possesses more than being a yoga teacher which excites us. Thank you Bridge.
I have known Tracy (Bridge) for the past 18 years. We worked together in the National Health service sector initially and have maintained contacted ever since.
Bridge has over two decades of experience in working closely with patients and clinicians in managing health services including running GP practices for over a decade. She is kind and adaptive by nature.
Bridge has evolved into a very committed mental health practitioner. Her clients have the full benefits of her number of years of expertise and knowledge in all fields.
She has helped patients with difficult conditions and long-term ailments to overcome their limitations by helping them with her combination therapies. Especially in the case of my close family members who have suffered from breathing, feeding issues and back problems causing physical and psychological affect.
Patients have found the sessions very helpful and life changing and have been able to continue to benefit from the sessions, by following to practice at their own pace and convenience.
Bridge has a gift for healing.
It is a struggle to put into words all that she has done for me and my daughter.
Personally, the pressures of overseeing a 4-year home building project, running the household, attending to the children’s school needs and extra-curricular activities took their toll. Not to mention looking after two German Shepherd dogs! I was left a shell of my former self and was very depressed.
I was introduced to Bridge by a mutual friend and immediately she sensed that all was not well. She has an astonishing gift to do this! Through her yoga sessions her words gently comforted me and helped me to rebuild. Bridge has a gift of gently helping you to explore how you feel inside and to focus on these feelings without fear. She has an ability to help you face negative feelings and exhausting thoughts and brings you to a place revealing your old self before the trauma. Bridge manages you so gently and subtly that you do not realising you are being helped until you suddenly feel better, it really is an astonishing gift. I personally have been truly affected I am stronger, happier and restored.
My daughter, now 18, has autism and suffered from bullying at school leaving deep scars which affected her bubbly, happy nature. Moving her to another school helped, however when she left, I was heart-broken to see her deteriorate. It was at this point that I asked Bridge if she could help.
Bridge has had a few hypnotherapy sessions with my daughter but the results have been amazing. My daughter is now happier, stronger and restored and with Bridge’s therapy techniques she sees the world around her differently and will be able to move forward with new eyes.
I cannot tell you exactly what Bridge did with Eliza but from the very first session Eliza changed. Over the next sessions Bridge picked away at all the nasty memories that Eliza was carrying and helped Eliza to see them from a different angle. She has taken their power over my daughter and squashed them. Eliza is now happier, stronger and restored. Eliza will now be able to go forward to her future life with new eyes. She now sees herself and the world around her totally differently. This is wholly thanks to Bridge. Her ability to mend and repair people’s souls is an amazing gift, one I am and will be eternally grateful and always feel blessed to have been touched by.
Thank you Bridge x
Bridge’s skill, knowledge, and experience of the human mind is second to none. Her calmness and easy manner sets you perfectly at peace, well before any hypnotherapy is required. However, using her gift, she was able to steer me clear from some dark and anxious times following a particularly toxic situation in my professional career. She was able to ‘re-set’ me and help me find my true worth again enabling me to reach new heights. I am so grateful for all she has done. Thank you Bridge.
During the last lockdown I fell into a dark depression, I’d lost all purpose and self believe. I contacted Bridge and following a conversation she knew exactly what needed to be worked on and healed. On my first appointment, she made me feel so at ease and her soothing voice allowed me to relax and settle into the session. I found it so powerful and was a real eye opener to what gets stuck in our subconscious minds creating our blocks and limiting beliefs. I then went on to have 2 more sessions and through her guidance and support have been able to work through and let go of what was holding me back. I’m now in a much better place and enjoying life. Forever grateful x
I was introduced to Bridge recently, hoping to get help with managing recurring behaviour patterns that were not serving me in any way, as a single mum with a heavy workload, an estranged ex, a difficult teenager, elderly parents living away, it felt like every area of my life was an uphill battle, my relationship was being affected, my sleep, even my dogs were playing up!
In just 2 sessions, Bridge got to the bottom of everything like simply peeling the layers of an onion, and took me from zero to hero and I can’t believe the difference in my everyday life! I may sound like a cheesy advert but it’s truly amazing how insightful Bridge is, so caring, and since our treatments, she has continued to keep in touch and check in to see if I am ok, and has been available at any time if I felt I needed some help or guidance.
It is a true gift to be able to do what Bridge does, and what is so fascinating is you go to see her for a treatment for one thing, and suddenly things you hadn’t even thought about change around you for the better all at the same time…
Thank you Bridge x
Bridge was recommended to me by a very dear friend.
It is nearly 4 years since my husband died of cancer and I thought I was doing ok. I had a brief relationship with a friend of a friend and it all went horribly wrong, I just crumbled, badly. Obviously not doing nearly as well as I thought.
3 sessions with Bridge so far and she has:
-helped me recover my self esteem and given me affirmations to support me if I waiver,
-led me to realise I can live in the now, without forgetting the past,
-given me courage to forgive and feel at peace with my emotions.
Each session has left me full of optimism and a sense of joy, tinged with relief that the negative thoughts, swirling like radio crazy in my head, are now banished. Next we are going to work on me feeling comfortable on my own.
This Girl Can, This Girl Has, Bridge has made it happen.
Thank you beautiful lady. You are awesome
After a divorce and a few years of wilderness I found myself slipping into some destructive habits that I wanted to address. Bridge was recommended to me by a friend and I booked myself in for what I’d call a mental MOT.
I’d always tried to deal with any problems with just working harder and withdrawing myself from society. But this wasn’t working any more.
My apprehension and concern about talking through my issues, were swiftly dispelled as I found myself out at ease and felt hugely grateful for the opportunity to be heard.
Bridge and I had a great number of sessions including some regression therapy and I can highly recommend anyone thinking of taking the first step to relieving anxiety and imminent or further depression, to just make contact – you won’t regret it and it’s a huge step in the right direction.
Bridge- Thanks for everything you did and continued support whenever required.
Many thanks
Dear Bridge, You’ve been fantastic. I’m in a good place and I know I’m going to keep it up. I have a new beginning thanks to you. People have commented on how I am getting back to my old self. I feel a million % so much better.
Please except my apologies. I’ve not had the time nor do I have the mindset to put into words how wonderful you were for me.
So all I ask is you copy and paste this text.
Need I say no more xxx
